$2200 and it isn’t leaving a rust trail everywhere it goes? Sure it’s a lesser Mach but it’s still a Mach1.

Lost me at “car is sold with bill of sale only”. No title, no deal. If it’s so easy, YOU do it.

That’s what’s killing me. Illinois is not a fun state for "lost” titles.

Found several great vehicles locally that all had the “affidavit in lieu of title [...] easy” bullshit dammit!

Are there any states where it isn’t a pain in the ass? (Slightly rhetorical but are there actually states that are easy?)

I was interest as it’s about 30 miles from me, then the title bit came up and the only logical response is

I could title it in NC for you then send it to you.

Blue interior. Why!?!
My ‘66 had blue interior and aged SO poorly. Otherwise, even with the missing title, this is NP.

A few southern states are Bill of Sale only on cars over a certain age.

GA isn't hard

It’s funny, Crusty has a Blue interior. As much as I want to not like it I really like it. As far as physically holding up? This Pony is a bit nasty.

Canada. We don’t have titles.

In GA no tiltle is required on anything over 25 yrs old, same thing with Alabama. It does devalue the car though compared to having a title, because should you ever sell it your potential buyer pool is limited some what.

Someone realized they could buy a nice driver quality Mach 1 of that generation for less than it would take to get that one sorted.

Do have to give the seller credit for all the photos and coming clean with the defects. This is basically a “barn find”. If you wanted to do your own ground up restoration this would be a good candidate at that money. Also a ground up restoration would give you time to sort out the title issue.

I’ve heard Kansas is super easy. Girlfriend’s mom lost the titles to two cars and a bike so we’ll see just HOW easy.
